The Chainsmokers band is an American production duo made of Alex Pall as well as Andrew Taggart. Since 2014, the duo has achieved a tremendous breakthrough with their song Selfie landing the top twenty lists of singles in not only America but other countries as well. Their debut called EP Bouquet was first released in mid-2015. Well, a year later (2016), the Chainsmokers went ahead to release their new track called Closer. The track features Halsey, a famous star.
Unlike their past singles like Roses, then Don’t Let Me Down, this new track features Andrew Taggart who is branded as a talented participant. Of course, when an artist takes to the stage alone, everything seems reasonable. But the input of an additional artist would be more vibrant. That explains why the two songwriters often involve vocalists and DJ contemporaries for the sole purpose of adding the human element to their already existing talents.
Besides, the band’s foray is often appended to personalizing their music through dance as this intertwines with their ambition to earn international recognition from other famous artists. That is why in a music interview, Alex Pall was asked how they manage to incorporate the human element into their music successfully.
For Alex Pall, music became part of his life at a relatively tender age when he was a DJ. While growing up, he developed some skills as that was his primary hobby. Often working on various gigs in New York City, he had a career going on. However, most of it was solely based on his side struggles as he was passionate about music.
Like any other child growing up, Alex Pall was afraid of the unknown future. Given the challenges he faced at that age, he had to try out different gigs including working at an art gallery. Coincidentally, he worked with his current manager. That manager introduced him to Drew, and until now, they make a perfect team.
For Alex Pall, quitting his job was not a big deal as a result has been a plethora of success. The same applies to his partner, Andrew. Well, for those who aspire to venture into music, the duo has set an admirable pace.
