What boundary has helped you the most? And how did you set and follow through with it?
So, the other day, I made a post looking for advice on how to stop trying to control everything, and I got a ton of helpful replies. (Thanks so much to everyone who commented!) A few commenters brought up the idea of boundaries, and I wanted to ask the community for more advice on this, as it's something I struggle with. So here are my questions:
What boundary did you set for yourself or regarding others that has helped the most?
What helped you determine your boundaries?
What helped you follow through with your boundaries (especially those you set for yourself)?
How did your neurodivergence affect this process? Like... How did you keep to boundaries when you struggle with impulsiveness? Or how were you able to find your boundaries when you were dealing with alexithymia? Etc...
Any advice or sharing of experiences would be very much appreciated. I know we are all internet strangers to one another, but I am really grateful for this community.
