Diversify Genres

Bandle is a rather promising game and the premise is really interesting, but the lack of genre diversity really kills it for me. The app really seems centered on rock (up to mid 2000s) and pop (anything postmid-2000s).

Maybe the target audience is intended to be older, but it really seems to be limited in terms of newer age music that isn't pop. 25% of total spotify streams are rap, and the biggest base for rap is 16-24 year old guys.

Those who are older can enjoy nostalgic or classic songs, and the game may even appeal to a younger female audience that (on average) listens to more artists like Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeren, Billy Eilish, Shawn Mendez etc, which seem to be frequent mid-late 2010s artists. But that really ostracizes someone like me. I don't expect to get them all, I'm no music afficianado; but I literally never see anything after 2010 that isn't pop.

I would buy the rap pack, but 50 songs seems rather sparse and the artists broadcast all seemed older (Eminem, Tupac, Notorious BIG) so I'm not even confident it would have newer artists.

Just a thought, and again maybe I'm not the target audience, but the game will definitely limit its appeal to only a select audience if it doesn't expand cross-genre.
