Anyone else sick of the politics?
EDIT: A lot of people took this the wrong way. As a personal affront as if I didn’t want to pay attention to politics. It’s a good thing to be in tuned with politics. I was simply asking if you guys thought this specific discourse was getting tiresome with the back to back posting about it. For anyone who’s neck deep in this right now, some point you need to take a step back. Talk to people in the real world about politics and it’ll bring you down to Earth a bit.
Specifically within this subreddit. I know with the inauguration not even a week ago (US citizen) so it seems silly to ask this. But I find solace in this subreddit with people who shared a common upbringing. I think this is a good outlet to discuss politics but it seems to be about 70-80% of what is posted now. Especially when it’s just to rant and isn’t productive to the users here, specifically the ones who aren’t affected and don’t care about US politics.
I’m sure it’s good to get it out of your system and I can’t speak for everyone but I’m personally not a fan. It’s made me tempted to leave this subreddit.
