Need help lightening/blending roots - can't go to the salon - please help 😭

I've been so busy with a move and work, I've terribly negligent to my poor hair. Shame.

I'm traveling abroad in the UK. I didn't know they have a patch test law that requires the salon to test you 48 hours prior. The problem is, I'm only in each city for 1-2 days.

At the very least, I think I'll tone my hair to get rid of that awful brassiness.

I was also thinking of using sun-in or even doing a bleach bath on my roots beforehand just to lighten them the slightest bit.

I'm also secretly excited to wander around Boots and look at all the cool UK beauty stuff. Extra points if you have any recommendations. ❤️
