Does anyone else feel like Berserkers have super inconsistent damage resistance?

Sometimes I shoot an explosive bolt into a crowd of five of them, and kill them all.

Other times, I've seen these guys tank a direct hit and keep coming toward me.

Regardless of difficulty, they just feel super inconsistent to kill. Sometimes they're squishy, sometimes VERY tough.

Just curious if anyone else feels the same way!
