Narrowed Down to 3 (maybe 4-5) Mattresses and Could Really Use Help With Decision!
So I've come to that point in my life where getting a new mattress is no longer an option, it's a necessity! My 20+ year old innerspring is so bad and causes me so much pain, that I've actually been sleeping on a reclining sofa for the last few months. A little about me and what I'm looking for. I'm a 37 yr old male @ 250lbs, primary back sleeper, occasionally I'll do the half side/half stomach sleep. About 3 years ago we stayed at a cabin in VA that used Tempurpedic mattress and I never slept better! Granted, anything is better than what I have. But I fell asleep faster, and noticed the whole week I'd wake up in the same position I fell asleep in, well rested, and not nearly as sore as I do at home. However, I also really enjoyed the mattress at the Comfort Inn Suites in NC (but hotel bedding is just special). I recently took the sleep/pressure test at Mattress Warehouse and they determined the Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Luxe firm was the best option for me. I tried it out for a few minutes and I didn't hate it. My only concern with Tempurpedic (besides the price), is "do I really want an all memory foam mattress if I like the hotel bed so much?" When I tried the classic innerspring/pillow top mattress at MW, I didn't like the bounce. So I think I have it narrowed down to Titan Hybrid Luxe, Bear Hybrid, DreamCloud or splurge on Tempurpedic. Needing a firmer bed, my weight, and my back issues.. can anyone help give me any insight on the mattresses I listed, or suggestions that aren't listed? Feel? Comfort? Support? And most of all, LONGEVITY! I want something that will hold up for years to come! Any input is greatly appreciated!
