Do women actually find thongs comfortable?

Let me preface this by saying I am a woman and I absolutely hate wearing thongs. I've worn thongs in the past but nowadays I'd only ever wear one if it was absolutely essential for my outfit because I've never been able to desensitize myself to the feeling of having something wedged in my ass crack all day. Curious if there are any thong-wearers out there who genuinely find them comfortable.
