John’s level on the last shows

Has anyone noticed how John’s level has risen in these last few shows? On the first part of the tour he was playing well but he was still nervous and he didn’t risk much with solos... But now as he feels more and more comfortable on stage, little by little he’s going to feel like he’s in his zone again and start risking more. At the last show in Miami, I saw a John who owned the stage... I’ve seen the Peppers multiple times since 1991 and I know what John is capable of on stage and with each show he gets closer to his prime.

Don't underestimate John's last decade...I've read a lot of people saying that John had stopped playing the guitar these last few years and is still getting the hang of it. Those are people who clearly don't listen to any of his electronic records, because there are a lot of guitars, and for me, the best guitar work of his entire career is there. John has totally changed the way he plays the guitar in recent years, if you listened to John’s last albums you know what I'm talking about, and it's incredible, I'm just waiting for John to start showing people on shows a bit of that new way of approaching the instrument… he did it the other night in Miami.
