Struggling with my tank
About a month ago I started seeing this algae on my sand. I tried to fight it with water changes, reducing the time the light was on, and trying to suck it off the rocks and sand. It just keeps coming back. About 2 weeks ago I started dosing MicroBacter 7, which doesn't appear to be helping. The fish seem fine, some of the corals are thriving, but my Zoas are pretty much wiped out. The last test results are:
Nitrate - 0.3 ppm Phosphate - 0.07 ppm Ammonia - .15 ppm
I have a sump with a skimmer and Chaeto. I also set up some media reactors with carbon and GFO about 3 weeks ago.
Anyone have any suggestions?
