Burglary MCQ help

Wasn't too sure about this one, I put D and know why thats wrong, but annoyingly I can't go back to the question to see what the right answer is.

A man is invited to his friend’s house for a party. Whilst at the party, the man gets into a fight with his friend’s girlfriend. The friend asks the man to leave immediately. The man is furious, and in order to teach his friend a lesson, goes into his friend’s bedroom and smashes up his TV.

Which of the following best describes whether the man is criminally liable for burglary?

Select one alternative:

(A) The man is liable for s9(1)(b) burglary only as he became a trespasser immediately upon being asked to leave the house and thereafter committed theft of the TV.

(B) The man is liable for s9(1)(b) burglary only as he became a trespasser immediately upon being asked to leave the house and thereafter caused criminal damage to the TV.

(C) The man is not liable for either burglary, as he did not enter the house as a trespasser.

(D) The man may be liable for both s 9(1)(a) burglary if he intended to damage property upon entry to the bedroom, and s 9(1)(b) burglary as he committed criminal damage once inside.

(E) The man may be liable for both s 9(1)(a) burglary if he intended to damage property upon entry to the bedroom, and s 9(1)(b) burglary as he committed a theft once inside.
