Why I Started UEM and Why I Fight

On August 25, 2019, my life changed forever—I was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. I spent nearly a month in the hospital, fighting for my life. During surgery, an accident on the operating table nearly killed me. My heart stopped for several minutes.

When I woke up, I was stable but confused, trying to process what had happened. I had tubes draining fluid from my body and a long road to recovery ahead. But as I lay in that hospital bed, I saw the harsh reality of our broken system. Even with insurance, I saw firsthand how flawed and inadequate healthcare in this country really is.

I remember seeing news stories about children with cancer and thinking about how many of them might never get the chances I had. Not because treatments didn’t exist, but because access to care was being stripped away by corrupt politicians and corporate greed.

That realization never left me. It’s what led me to create the United Evolution Movement (UEM). Not for myself, but for those kids, for the families struggling to afford basic needs, for a future where people come before profits.

We live in a time where billionaires and politicians dictate our lives, stripping away rights and resources while distracting us with empty promises. But change doesn’t come from waiting—it comes from action.

I don’t have all the answers, and I know I can’t do this alone. UEM isn’t about one person—it’s about all of us. If you’ve ever felt like the system is rigged against everyday people, if you’ve ever wanted to push for real change but didn’t know how, this is your chance.

Let’s build something better—together.
