Introducing: Casual Pro Wrestling
Hey!
I'm a solo game developer and have been working on a pro wrestling PC game for the past 4 years that I decided to go public with now. It's called Casual Pro Wrestling and is inspired by the games from the late 1990s.
The name should tell part of the story already. The game focuses on the fun mechanics of wrestling games and less on a realistic simulation. However, it is supposed to be a pro wrestling game, not an arcade fighter or a dumbed down brawler, we've had enough of those...
I'm trying to mix easy controls with ragdoll physics for added drama - gameplay videos will be coming soon, also including larger matches with 10+ wrestlers in the ring. On top of that, I want to offer a plethora of customization possibilities, including a good old fashioned CAW mode that's already working pretty well.
There's still a lot to be done, but I am aiming for a Steam Early Access release around Christmas next year. So, over the coming year, I will be sharing many details about the game and what's brewing.
