How long to beat avowed ? Online shows 15-16 hours which must be false in 24 hours in and just barely started the 2nd zone

I’m not rushing through this game and trying to find everything I can, I don’t know how but some people are claiming they’ve beat it in 40hours

Is that not doing majority of the side missions and not exploring the world ? That would take away so much of the fun though
