What would you do?
I have a prebuilt pc that i got gifted from work with an RTX A2000 6gb gpu. I want to get more into gaming with a low budget, and I just bought an amd ryzen 7500f cpu from aliexpress for 125$ cuz I saw it was the best price/performace rigth now from various reviews. And for the gpu I was really looking into the Arc B580 but comparing it in technical.city with my A2000, the B580 only outperforms the A2000 by 14% in most esports titles and has a higher frame rate at 1440p (i have a 1440p monitor but never used it to it's full potential).
My question in this case is, is it worth it buying the B580 for my low budget pc, having in mind that i already plan to buy a new motherboard (Gigabyte B650), case(Balam rush tank mini), ram (2x16 ddr5 Corsair). I already have a good 750w power suply, and just bougth the cpu (in an rush bc of the last offers lol).
Points to consider:
- Will any motherboard that is compatible with my ryzen 5 7500f be suited for the A2000? (im thinking compatibility problems since its a low profile GPU).
- A2000 bottlenecking the 7500f or viceversa?
- if the previous points dont matter, is the 14% better performance of the arc B580 really worth it?
I've been thinking what is the best way to play with my buddies but I dont want to spend the big buck in high end GPU's or CPU's and maybe consider future upgrades and I think this is the best way for me.
What would you guys do?
I need feedback please :)
