guy i’ve been dating just admitted he’s still living w/ his ex… wtf do i do?

so i’m 20f and i’ve been seeing this guy (25m) for about a month now. everything has been going great he’s sweet, super attentive, and we have really good chemistry. we’ve been out a few times, and i was actually starting to think this could turn into something real.

but last night, we were texting and he casually dropped that he still lives with his ex. like it was no big deal. i was like ??? excuse me ??? and he tried to play it off like, “yeah we broke up a while ago but we’re still roommates for now, it’s not weird or anything.”

sir. that is absolutely weird.

he swears they’re not together, just stuck in a lease situation, and says he didn’t mention it earlier bc “it’s not really a big deal.” but idk, i feel like that’s something u tell someone before they start catching feelings?? now i’m sitting here wondering if i’ve just been played this whole time.

hbu, would u keep dating someone who still lives w/ their ex? or is this a massive red flag??
