Fashion Reddit, how would you style this top?

I'm loving it, but I'm finding it to be a headscratcher. If I wear white pants, it blends with the ruffles, which is the standout part. If I wear black pants, I feel like I'm going to a retail shift. Shoe ideas also welcome.
