why is it so difficult to apply for the international exchange

I must clarify I am not the most proactive person. I handed in the first round of exchange applications the night it was due… mainly because I couldn’t find any specific course info for the institutions abroad. Besides the point, the process was already hell and was more stressful than any exam imo. Now here I am, two days until the final deadline and I have no clue what’s required of me. I have been in contact with multiple faculties, yet I just keep getting redirected to someone else, left with unanswered questions and an approaching deadline. So basically i’m wondering wtf needs to be submitted ?? is there anyone else going through the application process rn who has advice ??
