Aswaghanda, Rhodiola and Saffron

Which one of the above was the most effective for your depression/anxiety/cognitive functions? Has anyone taken these three together? I've read that the three can complement each other wonderfully.

I've been taking Ashwagandha for 3 weeks and seeing a little bit of a difference but nothing significant. Initially, I started with 250 mg and was gradually increasing the dosage, currently taking a 1000 milligram per day.

I'm also looking for these supplements from trusted brands in hopes for them not to be contaminated with heavy metals. Please share your thoughts!
