How do you use your calendars?

I'm currently working on a system that redefines the way how we interact with our existing calendars and would love some insights in how you guys use your calendars.

It's like a wrapper around your calendar. You configure it once and never have to touch or see it again (if you dont want to). This service gives your calendar extra functionality. You can kinda compare it with "git" like commands but its too early to tell you more. For now I would love your feedback to the following questions:
