The Perks of Being a Wallflower

Honestly my most personal favorite movie. Never quite related more with a movie character like Charlie before since I myself am an introvert and literally don't have true friends. I have found that Charlie and I are very similar except that I don't have friends like Patrick and Sam. After watching this movie, I started realizing that my life is worthless.

Anyways, talking about the movie, this has to be one of the most aesthetically pleasing coming-of-age movie. The soundtrack and setting made it 10 times better. Add to the fact that impressive performances from Logan Lerman, Emma Watson and Ezra Miller has turned this movie into a very loving one. The lovely scene where both Patrick and Sam dance and then Charlie also joins in the act and gets comfortable around him and also when they accept him in their group after realizing that he has no friends as his only friend Michael committed suicide.

Also not a single time I felt as if Emma Watson was playing another version of Hermione here. She completely gave a fresh image of Sam Button. After all Sam is just the opposite of Hermione.

I wonder why this movie wasn't even nominated for even single Oscar category. Should've been nominated in the best screenplay category.
