Georgia is one of the greatest countries to overland and explore. Freedom of travel + off-road tracks everywhere + high mountains + beautiful beaches + a lot of historic sites.

Georgia is definitely one of the most exciting countries we have driven through and explored so far on our overland trip to australia. The great thing about Georgia is that you have complete freedom of travel here, and there are plenty of ways off the main roads that are neither private nor impassable. During the time we spent in Georgia, we experienced +27°C beach weather and also snow when we drove over the Zagari Pass at over 2,600 meters above sea level. The Georgian cuisine is fantastic, and the locals are warmly welcoming. If you have the chance to drive through Georgia with your vehicle, definitely take it!
