Interviewing For New Job While Pregnant

Hi all,

I really need some advice to figure out how to navigate this situation. I am currently around 8 weeks pregnant. I graduated with my PhD in December and have been applying for jobs since. I had an interview last week and just got the call today that I have gotten through to the next round. The role I am interviewing for is exactly what I want to be in work wise and I am excited about it. However, I am also feeling very guilty about not letting them know beforehand that I am currently pregnant. If I do get this job I would only be able to work for about 6-7 months before going on leave. On one hand I understand that this is my personal business and they do not need to know about it but on the other hand I feel like I am being deceitful by not letting them know. I feel that if I were to let them know now they would just tell me they are selecting a different candidate because of differences in skills. It is an in person mostly role as well with one to two days of telework allowed. So here I am wondering if any of you have been in similar situations and how you navigated them. When should I inform the employer that I am pregnant? Any advice would be extremely helpful. Thank you!
