Traveling 3 hours with a newborn?

I plan to ask my OB too, I’m just curious what others have done.

I’m due June 11. A friend’s wedding is June 27. It’s a 3 hour drive from our house. If baby boy arrives a couple weeks early, he could be about a month old, but if he’s late he could be a couple days old. Obviously the later he’s born, the less likely we are to go to this wedding - especially if I give birth at 42 weeks (6/25). The RSVP date is 5/11.

Does anyone have experience making a decision like this?
