I'm confused about moving to Colombo, and I need suggestions.

Recently, I received a job offer based in Colombo. The salary is around $2,300, including taxes. I'm not sure about the income tax, but medical insurance is fully covered. If I accept the offer, I will be moving alone, but I will need to send at least $1,000–$1,300 back home. So, I will have around $1,000 in hand.

Is this enough to live a comfortable life in Colombo? I mostly eat outside.
