AOC with international school with no EIN

From my research, it looks like my uni fees should be eligible for the AOC, but my university (Edinburgh Napier University) doesn't have an EIN and I can't input the fees without one. They've given me their equivalent (a certificate of fees paid) but I'm not sure what the point of issuing that is if I can't use it on anything? Is there a work around for this or a different benefit I should apply for? I'm filing with freetaxUSA website
